THE FUN FACTORY
The Fun Factory, a 501c3 organization, was established in 2018 to provide a "safe space" and a fun learning environment to support Gen-Z through art, music, film/television, technology and entrepreneurship.
Our MISSION is to provide a fun learning environment that supports students, youth and young adults, through the arts, music, film/television, technology and entrepreneurship. We provide mentoring, classes that focus on technical and professional skill development, access to corporations and opportunities for internships through local corporate and organizational partnerships, and more.
Our VISION is to implement programs that focus on stimulating, engaging, transformational, and productive activities that appeal to students, youth and young adults, such as setting up businesses, creating and monetizing content, building and managing social media, and learning how to make and edit content. We provide the programs, activities, and support for students, youth and young adults as they transition into the marketplace, as well as, expose them to industries that may not normally be accessible to them.
Our GOAL is to close the opportunity divide by providing students, youth and young adults with the skills, experience, and support needed that will empower them to reach their potential and achieve their professional/career and higher education goals.

The Fun Factory hosted 8 interns in Chicago and Champaign Illinois for a 28 day shoot in 2023. Faith Filmworks principals, Michael and Christine Swanson invited The Fun Factory to be a part of the making of their feature film Albany Road. Christine is an award winning director and Michel is a top executive at a major network. Both, Michael and Christine poured into our interns allowing them to shadow the set, participate in a writing master class, as well as a masterclass on the business of film. This was an amazing opportunity and we thank our sponsors for making this possible. |

The Fun Factory hosted a private screening of Albany Road for interns who participated on set, as well as select artists, actors and influencers. The screening was hosted at the historic Angelika Theatre. Audiences were allowed to preview a director's first cut, along with a Q & A with the Producer and Director of the film.

The Fun Factory had the privilege of partnering with 1DayLA of the greater Los Angeles area community by volunteering, serving the homeless and cleaning up the city. The Fun Factory provided a gaming truck through our e-sports pop up program and set up a site that allowed us to network with several other non profits who serve the Los Angeles region, including The Watts Empowerment Center, FAMILY Outreach, Center of Hope Church and more. This allowed us to plant seeds in the community for further partnerships opportunities throughout Los Angeles and surrounding counties.
